Tea for two.. Or three... Or a fair few more!!!

This month we were invited to have afternoon tea at the roundhouse for our organised Sunday run. Robert and Lesley were very welcoming opening their doors to all of us. It was a very well attended event considering it was mothers day. Over 20 Glavon Members all huddled into the dining area enjoying a nice relaxed drink and tucking to the amazing spread of scones, crumpets, hot cross buns and cakes all prepared by Lesley herself. I think its fair to say Lesley worked very hard and it payed off as it was all very yummy!! Most of the men had a wander around the TR9 car park as Andy West called it, with a Mini, a Lotus and a Mazda all occupying the driveway and Roberts TR in the garage still in bits. This was a big talking point for most of them. As this was also Lilly (the mini’s) first Glavon event since the rebuild, many people kept going and having a look, while asking questions about her and the rebuild itself. Lilly did have to have a tissue tho as her oil leak isn't great but its on the list for things to do. All things considered, it was a very good Sunday afternoon and there is only one thing left to say. A huge thank you to Robert and Lesley for their hospitality.
